Travel > Indian subcontinent

One of our older trips, 1984, so keep in mind that it are scanned slides. With 16 friends we hired jeeps and travelled around in the very north of Pakistan. Areas which were quite difficult to travel with public transport. Mostly we camped in nature, and sometimes we used small guesthouses. The mountain views were impressing, like the people we met there. The Kafir Kalash in the border area near Afghanistan, and the healthy mountain people of the Hunza valley with all the apricot trees. But all so the 1001 night atmosphere of Peshawar made a deep impression.
