December 2019 we visited Russia after a short trip in Estonia. We arrived in Pskov by bus a smaller city with several monument and quite a Russia feeling (whatever that may be). We continued to Novgorod a city with a long and important history. In the Kremlin you find the Sophia Cathedral, the oldest churchin Russia and one of the oldest stone building in Russia. The ceremony we attended there made a big impression. A very good choir and a priest with a beautifull voice. By train we moved on to St. Petersburg. A city with allure, boulevards, palaces, churches and museums. Of course the Hermitage museum is a must go! We spend 7 hours there, and still lots to explore.
